General Information: Rules for students and classes:
- To reserve class time in the media center, ask one of the
media
specialists. Online calendars are below.
- If more than three students are sent to the media center at one time, please call first to ensure that there is room for your students. - Teachers should accompany their classes to the media center. - Teachers should enforce the media center and school rules while their classes are visiting:
Teacher Services:
- See media specialists if you need ANY help with instruction. We can create media center lessons for any class on any topic or can simply help teachers locate the most useful resources for students. - See media specialists for help scanning, making Ellison (bulletin board) cut-outs, printing, etc. We will be glad to assist you! - Teachers can check out books, magazines, videos, sound recordings, etc. All items are checked out as long as they are needed. Remember that other teachers may be waiting on an item so please return it in a timely manner. - Teachers needing TV carts, MMS carts, or other equipment need to check their items out with a media specialist. Equipment is first-come, first-serve, so please make arrangements as early as possible! |

This website has information on legislation, services, training, and other information related to Georgia education.
