RMS congratulates Mrs. Cristina Baldwin, elected as our Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Baldwin was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico.

An excellent student, she mastered English in High School. Her success in learning the language led her to attend the University of Guadalajara, where she majored in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Mrs. Baldwin taught English in the Guadalajara area for four years before moving to the United States. Arriving in Atlanta, she worked as a Spanish teaching assistant at Agnes Scott College for one year. Mrs. Baldwin then relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia in order to obtain her Master's Degree in Education from Regent University.

Finally settling in Rome, Mrs. Baldwin taught ESOL at Rome City Schools for 6 years. She has been employed in her current position teaching Spanish at RMS for the past 7 years.

Mrs. Baldwin is married to the honorable Joseph L. Baldwin, a native Roman. The couple has two children and resides here in Rome.

Ms. Bramlett grew up in Rome and attended Shorter University.  She and her husband, Marc, have two daughters, Madison, a freshman at Rome High, and Jordan, a sophomore at Shorter University. 

Ms. Bramlett enjoys working with young people and this is evident in her smiling face and positive outlook.
