West End P.T.O. welcomes you to West End Elementary School’s web page. Please take a moment to read this information to update and inform you of your P.T.O.

Mission Statement

To surround our children with a nuturing environment that encourages creativity,
challenges intellect, and develops communication and social skills so that they
will reach heights they never knew existed. To provide our faculty with the
tools to teach, volunteers to support their efforts, and encouragement
to meet each child's special needs.

We believe that parent involvement is the key to a child’s education.

Here is a partial list of what your hard work has helped accomplish:

* $15,858 in improvements to the lower playground area

* $14,300 to purchase technology for our school including:

* 5 SMARTbboards for science and math classrooms

* a video message board in the school lobby

* video production equipment for the West End morning show

* new public address/sound system for the gym

* $500 for fans to help cool the gym

* $50 in medical supplies for the school nurse

* $400 for school equipment

*2,000 for Teacher and Staff appreciation
