STEM Magic Show

West End PTO collaborated with the principal, Mrs. Buffi Murphy, to provide a school-wide assembly featuring magician Chad Crews on Friday, November 21, 2014. Mr. Crews performed an adaptation of his summer program, Fizz Boom Read, for the students. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote both literacy and science in an engaging way. Students were thrilled to see science presented in the form of magic! West End PTO is very excited to support STEM efforts and felt that this was the perfect send-off for students before Thanksgiving break.
