    Innovation Fund Grant
Our school has received an Innovation Fund Planning Grant for the 2015-2016 school year.  We are in the planning phase for a school-wide initiative called Growing Up Green.  Our school hopes to expand our current school garden to provide fresh produce to our students and neighborhood community.

    S.T.E.M. Certification Initiative
At North Heights Elementary School, we are striving to become Georgia STEM certified. This will give all of our students an opportunity to participate in engineering activities on a daily basis. On our journey to becoming STEM certified, our students are engaging in project-based learning where they are problem solving and collaborating to work through our unique engineering process.
