This is my twenty-fifth year as an educator. This is my eleventh year at Elm Street School. I have experience with all elementary grade levels. My favorite subject to teach is reading. I want the very best for my students, and I'm willing to cheer them, work with them, and push them to be successful.
My husband, Chuck, and I have been married twenty-six very happy years. Our favorite hobby is to go treasure hunting at estate and rummage sales. We then make whatever we find prettier and sell it in one of our antique booths.
We have two wonderful sons. Zach is a student and band member at Georgia Tech. He is studying music technology and mechanical engineering. His fiance, Jessica, is a student at Kennesaw State studying middle grades education. Bryce is a senior and band member at Rome High. He plans to attend Cinema Makeup School in California to study special effects make up. We are very proud that both of our sons are Eagle scouts.
We have a spoiled Yorkie-poo named Brody who rules the house (all two pounds of him). We also have three turtles (Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Sheldon) and four koi fish.
