The following students have been named our Grade Level Winners in the Annual Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest. The Essay is written as a part of our ELA curriculum and explores narrative writing as a meaningful personal value in one's life. It is judged each year by volunteers through the Georgia Rotary Club. As winners, these students will participate in a luncheon sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rome: Seven Hills.

Susan Mann, literacy coach at RHS, serves as GaTESOL's 2025 First Vice President and 2026 Secretary and traveled to Uzbekistan to help formalize a partnership with Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. In this leadership capacity, she represented Georgia's English language educators on an international stage. She delivered keynote addresses to national dignitaries, English language faculty and future teachers, visited one of President Mirziyoyev's Presidential Schools, and engaged more than 1,000 educators and students across Uzbekistan, both in person and virtually. We are so proud of Ms. Mann and her leadership!

Celebrating National FFA Week, the National FFA Organization featured Rome High School's Rachael Dunaway:
"Mrs. Rachael Dunaway is more than an advisor, she is the heart of Rome High FFA. From launching the program to guiding members toward national success, her compassion, dedication, and belief in every member has made a lasting difference. Since 2019, she has opened doors, built confidence, and helped members discover their passions in agriculture. Her steady presence continues to inspire growth, leadership, and lifelong impact.
