Mrs. Reyes' 3rd grade students listened to the story The Man Who Walked Between the Towers to learn about the trait-bravery. After, they spoke about the brave heroes who risked their lives to help others during the events of 9/11. Next, the class wrapped up unit 1 in Reading with an opinion writing-publishing picnic based on the themes found in The Wind In the Willows. Students worked hard to plan, revise, edit, and publish their writing.
