Rome High School Celebrates 94 Advanced Placement Scholars
ROME, GA - Rome High School is excited to announce the outstanding academic achievement of its students, as a staggering 94 students have been recognized as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies, exemplifying the school's commitment to academic excellence and rigorous coursework.
The impressive number of AP Scholars at Rome High School is a testament to the dedication of both students and educators, who have worked tirelessly to foster an environment of learning and intellectual growth. The following is a breakdown of the various categories of AP Scholars:
AP Scholars with Distinction: 24
An AP Scholar with Distinction is a student that had an average score of 3.5 or more on all AP exams and scores of three or more on five or more of these exams. These 24 students have earned the highest honor by achieving outstanding scores on multiple AP exams. Their commitment to academic excellence and pursuit of knowledge have set them apart as scholars of the highest caliber. Rome High School is incredibly proud of these students' accomplishments, and they serve as inspiring role models for their peers.
AP Scholars with Honor: 20
An AP Scholar with Honor is a student that had an average score of 3.25 or more on all AP exams and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams. An additional 20 students have been recognized as AP Scholars with Honor. These students have demonstrated exceptional performance on multiple AP exams, showcasing their ability to excel in challenging academic settings. Their dedication to their studies and commitment to excellence are commendable.
AP Scholars: 50
An AP Scholar is a student that had a score of three or higher on three or more AP exams. The largest group among the AP Scholars at Rome High School, these 50 students have earned recognition for successfully completing three or more AP exams. Their determination and willingness to take on the rigor of college-level coursework while still in high school are truly praiseworthy.
Rome High School is known for its emphasis on academic rigor and for providing students with opportunities to challenge themselves. The Advanced Placement program plays a vital role in this endeavor, allowing students to experience college-level courses and potentially earn college credit while still in high school.
