She has seen firsthand how successful RCS has been and continues to be.
Boyd uses her more than three decades of teaching experience to ensure that parents, teachers, students, and stakeholders have a voice. As a former media specialist, Boyd stresses the importance of libraries within the school system.
She welcomes and encourages parents to have input in their children’s education and encourages parents and grandparents to complete the required volunteer training and serve in their children’s school(s). She believes family engagement is key to student success and wants parents and caregivers to stay in contact with their children’s teachers and to attend school events.

She also serves on the executive boards of the Rome Junior Wolves Athletic Organization and the South Rome Community Association, further demonstrating her commitment to youth and community development.
A founder of the South Rome Free Tutoring Program and co-founder of the AIM at Main Mentorship Program, Mrs. Davis has helped expand academic support, leadership development, and student readiness for Rome City Schools students. She holds two degrees and eight certifications in Computer and Information Technology and founded 4D Computer Repairs to expand educational equity by removing technology barriers for families and nonprofits.
