Blue Angels at Main

The Wings Over North Georgia Air Show showcased some of America’s mightiest machines in flight.

In addition to the entertainment in the air, the Blue Angels took time away from their wings to wow curious little minds at Main Elementary School. During a special talk with fifth grade students who wanted to know all about their day-to-day routines, Lt. Kristin Fulk, Sgt. Darius McCauley and Lt. Chris Kapuschansky presented the young Wolves with a video detailing how they prepare to present one of America’s most electrifying airplane exhibitions.

After the video, students were given the opportunity to ask questions about how they keep their uniforms so clean, what the pilots like to eat, and even how long it takes them to practice for the daredevil stunts the Blue Angels have become famous for.

Main Elementary and Rome City Schools would like to say thank you to all the brave men and women of the military, and especially to the Blue Angels who came down from the heavens to spend a little time with our Wolves.
