Main Elementary welcomed Dads into the building on Friday April 1, for coffee and pastries just as they had done with Muffins for Moms the previous week. The two events are an inclusive effort to encourage parental involvement.
Principal Dr. LaRoyce Sublett said, "We want to build a cohesive community with our students, address what needs they may have and discuss ways that can make them more effective as parents. I want to let our parents know, especially our Dads joining us today, that we can be better if we all work together to help our children. We welcome them with open arms when they show up to support and encourage our students."
