ROME GROWN SPOTLIGHT: 🌟
This week we’re proud to highlight Rome High School Class of 2022’s own Eric Holland Jr. (EJ).
EJ is a member of the Kennesaw State University men’s basketball team, which recently made history by winning its first-ever Conference USA Basketball Championship. The title earned the Owls their second trip to the NCAA Tournament — a historic moment for the program.
Even more impressive, this marks EJ’s second conference championship and second March Madness appearance, making him one of only two players in Kennesaw State history to accomplish that.
From Rome High to the national stage, EJ continues to represent the Rome community with pride.
Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment, EJ! We’re proud to call you Rome Grown.
