Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, staff, and families, and in alignment with our Keeping Schools Safe initiative, Rome City Schools is sending food home with students today in the event that the winter weather forecast for this weekend requires us to move to a Flexible Learning Day on Monday. Some of this food will need to be refrigerated. Students have also been given assignments that they can complete on Monday if we move to a flexible learning day.
The safety of our community remains our top priority. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will share updates regarding next week’s schedule as more information becomes available. Please be sure to follow our website, social media sites, and school status updates. #EngageEmpower Elevate
