RCS Exceeds National Averages on the ACT: Rome, GA - With a commitment to academic excellence, Rome City Schools proudly announces its success in ACT scores, surpassing the national average. While the district's scores slightly trail the state averages, the dedication of our students and educators remains evident.  The class of 2023 in Rome City Schools demonstrated outstanding performance on the ACT, achieving scores that exceeded the national average in all subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. These scores reflect the relentless efforts put forth by our students, teachers, and administrators.
