On Friday, April 28th, our Rome Middle School readers traveled to Stars and Strikes in Dallas, Georgia to enjoy a great day of bowling, laser tag, and games! The top 150 middle school readers, as well as Main and Elm Street 6th graders, enjoyed a fun-filled day celebrating their reading accomplishments. In order to attend, students gained points by meeting their MAP growth goals, turning in their reading logs, creating book talks for others to see, or constantly modeling positive reading habits in class. Science, Social Studies, and Math teachers were also able to reward positive reading points to all students. Thank you, students, for your participation in our RCS reading incentive program!
